Galgorm Resort and Spa Wedding - County Antrim
Ciara + Jason. One word to describe Ciara and Jason’s wedding, stunning! The couple got married on a crisp January day with an abundance of winter sunshine at the Galgorm Resort, County Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Jason is Australian and his family flew half away across the world to see these two beautiful people commit to spending the rest of their lives together.
We spent an awesome day with this couple a few weeks before their wedding shooting a couples session in the wild North Coast of Northern Ireland. They just went for it. Jason is by far the most stylish dressed human we have ever met. We loved him for it.
The couple got married in a converted Rolls Royce garage, the Phantom House set in the gounds of the Galgorm. Stonewalls with soft lighting and the winter sun sneaking in through the tiny windows made this the perfect winter ceremony location. Jason in his beautiful emerald green suit beamed as he watched Ciara walk down the aisle in her stunning Jenny Peckham wedding dress.
After these two got married, we took some awesome pictures and returned them to their celebrations where there was a traditional Irish band playing by the roaring fireplace. The atmosphere felt like it was later in the night with the banging of the drums and the guests singing Irish folk songs at the top of their voices.
The couple had dinner by candlelight, and chose to have a table just for themselves; this was in keeping with their romantic theme.
The party atmosphere continued after dinner. After Ciara and Jason finished their first dance, Ciara danced with her beloved Grandfather who has since passed away. We are absolutely honoured we got to take the photographs which Ciara holds close to her heart.
Ciara and Jason have since moved to Australia, and we are delighted to stay in touch via social media.
Ciara and Jason, your wedding blew us away, you are both awesome. Jason, you are still to this day the most stylish person on the planet!
